Pankaj Advani pockets fourteenth World title

India's best cueist Pankaj Advani on Sunday added another quill to his top by winning the IBSF World Billiards Championship outflanking his rival in the last to take his reality title tally to 14.

Advani, 30, left the onlookers enchanted with his productive play and undeniable authority over the 3-ball game, devastating Singapore's Peter Gilchrist by 1168 focuses.

On lifting his fourteenth world crown in style, the Indian expert said, "I was resolved to get even with Peter (Gilchrist) in the wake of losing the point group last to him. A profitable visit with my games analyst sibling Shree and a decent night's rest did the trap. We examined my methodologies and mental methodology the night prior to the enormous last and everything worked out impeccably."

Bengaluru's 'Brilliant Boy' was in thundering shape and seemed quick to guard his Time group world title as well as retaliate for his loss of the Point position title to Gilchrist, which happened under a week prior.

In the opening visit, Advani terminated in a snappy century (127) to take the introductory lead. Neglecting to underwrite, Gilchrist gave over a chance to the Indian star and it was exploited.

The 2015 6-red snooker best on the planet demonstrated his fine ability in billiards by crushing in two consecutive triple hundreds of years (360 and 301), making the match an inescapable result in the first hour itself.

With an agreeable 700-point lead, India's posterboy of cuesport kept on compounding an already painful situation with breaks of 284, 119, 101 and 106 one after another to extend his lead to 1100 focuses at the midway sign of the 5-hour last.

On resumption in the second half, Advani kept on rebuffing his adversary with two more hundreds of years yet an energetic fightback by the Singaporean as a major twofold century (284) alongside a couple more hundreds of years decreased his deficiency.

Be that as it may, Advani was not exactly done yet. He proceeded with his overwhelming structure with some forceful scoring. The last nail in the casket was a familiar and impeccable 430 break that was unfinished as the match came to the end of its 300 minutes length of time.

Advani has stamped his power once more in billiards at the world level for a couple of years now. Subsequent to demolishing England's Mike Russell in the last of 2012 version of the Time group, Advani went ahead to win twin titles in both Point and Time designs in 2014.

The champion further included, "I've been progressing last couple of months contending in numerous competitions consecutive, in both snooker and billiards. The stretch began with winning the world 6-red snooker title and finished with this world title in billiards making it an extremely fulfilling period of the year for me."
