The iPhone 6
characters Apple's punchy A8 CPU, a dual core 64-bit chip with a truly quick
GPU attached and backed by 1GB of RAM. This is an alternate way to deal with
that taken by Android chip makers, who typically go for a quad-core GPU and no
less than 2GB of RAM.
For the S6 Samsung
selected against utilizing the Snapdragon 810 processor found inside the LG
Flex 2 and HTC One M9 in support for its custom chip. The 64-bit Exynos 7420
chip offers a fundamentally the same octa-core set-up to the previously stated
Snapdragon 810 and delivers a slick, overall performance.
Somewhere else, the
Samsung Galaxy S6 highlights 3GB of RAM - that is three times the sum found in
the iPhone 6. More important here, however, is the speed of that RAM. The
Galaxy S6 is the first phone to include DDR4 of memory, which is 80 % faster
than the iPhone 6's DDR3.
When you look at the
Geekbench 3 multi-core benchmark tests, the S6 beats the competition yet
numbers just recounts a large portion of the story. In everyday performance
both are to extremely fast and smooth and our typical complaints of TouchWiz
slowing things down isn't obvious on the more streamlined version Samsung has
adopted for the S6.
