Earth and Mars, these are the two
rocky terrestrial planets. They orbit within the inner Solar System. Let’s see
some similarities and differences between Earth and Mars.
In the solar system, the origin of
Earth and Mars is the same for all of the planets. Scientists believe that the
Sun, the planets and everything in the Solar System all created at the same
time within the solar nebula; a giant cloud of cold molecular hydrogen. In the
middle of the solar system, the sun is formed, and its rapid rotation formed a
flattened disk of material around it. It was from within this disk that Earth
and Mars and all the planets created.
Earth has tectonic plates but Mars
hasn’t. In present days, scientists have proven that both of the planets have
water. We can see water everywhere on the Earth but it looks dry and dust on the Mars.
